Isn't it obvious what one of the most beautiful creations in the world is? FLOWERS. So you can almost always guarantee that flowers will add beauty to your photographs. Here are a few simple ways to incorporate flowers into your photography:
Exhibit A- Having the model hold a bouquet! This is a quick way to add elegance to the model. I also added some motion to the bouquet to make the image a bit more dynamic.
Exhibit B- Making sure that there is a large volume of flowers in the background. Many photographers like to use floral backdrops, which can also create stunning, classy results. However, my personal preference is to get the real deal. This means fields of flowers, flower bushes, etc. You can even use tools like Photoshop to duplicate the flowers that are already there, which will make the scene have a fuller and richer effect.
Exhibit C- Using floral overlays. You can either use your own images of flowers that you personally captured, or you can source out floral images from the internet (some are free and others will need to be purchased). Using this technique means that you will have to be strategic in where you place your layers. In this image I made sure to erase any layering that covered the model's face. Overlays are more of an abstract and creative approach.
Exhibit D- Creating a custom, floral headpiece or incorporating flowers into the hair. You can use Youtube university to learn how to create the headpiece. Here is a link to the video I used to create mine:

There are also many ways to accent hair with flowers, such as weaving into braids or pony tails, using hair barrettes. or simply sticking them everywhere and using Photoshop to clean up or duplicate flowers to create a fuller look.
